The record

On 18 June 1757, Frederick the Great’s 34,000 Prussian troops were defeated by 54,000 Austrians under Count von Daun at Kolín, forcing the Prussian king to abandon the Siege of Prague and retreat to Saxony.

Coincidence, not causation: the date is real and ephemeris-based, but a retrograde window is observed, never blamed. For entertainment, not navigation.
