Anthology

Anthologiai, esp. Book III

A handbook of horoscopic astrology that treats a planet's phase, retrogradation included, as a condition on its effect. In one rule in Book III, §4, a planet that is 'setting or proceeding with a retrograde motion' will be 'harmful and hazardous' and is not to be counted a benefic at all (Riley's translation).
